The late Barbara Bush was laid to rest today in Houston at the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church where thousands gathered for the simple service.
Bush was well loved by many and the funeral was attended by big names such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, as well as Melania Trump and many others.
First Lady Melania Trump decided to honor Ms. Bush by bringing two employees from the White House who were incredibly close to the former First Lady.
She brought George Hainey, former White House head Maitre’d, and Buddy Carter, current White House usher as invited guests. Her spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, released the information on Saturday.

Hannie, who grew up under Jim Crow laws in Alabama, served in the White House for 46 years, starting with former President Lyndon B. Johnson.
“The most memorable moment I had at the White House is seeing my mother walk up North Portico, all alone, to visit me and [former President] George and Barbara Bush in their personal quarters,” Hannie told MSNBC.
Melania knew that these two gentleman were incredibly close to Barbara Bush and so she wanted to give them an opportunity to pay their respect to her.
